At first we thought... oh great, another Mediterranean/Greek place on 2nd. But because we like to support businesses in our neighborhood, we went to get couple things. And O.M.G it did not disappoint! The staff were amazing and so friendly. I think her name was Nyisha, she was so kind and friendly. Very welcoming and even gave our nephew-dog a cool treat. Now the food... we ordered a chicken gyro and. Lamb-beef bowl. Both EXCELLENT!! Just enough spicy to where it doesn't overwhelm the food. The chicken gyro was very tender ... read more

Nick the Greek is new to Long Beach! Staff is very nice and still in training, so be patient! Food is amazing. They did well with the vibe inside. I'll be coming back.

New restaurant on restaurant row. I went to their soft opening and the staff was friendly and attentive. What I like about this restaurant is its food and price point. It serves whole, well-seasoned food, but at a cost that doesn't break the bank. The prices are very reasonable and there is a selection of beer on tap. Think of Chipotle, but in the Greek version with an alcohol license. What I am surprised at is that they offer pork and pork belly options which I haven't seen at a Greek restaurant. I actually tried the pork... read more

I ordered two Gyro Bowls in January 19, 2025 of this year while I was at work I ordered throughthe Uber app.. Man let me tell ya.... when I got home I felt so sick with nausea and body aches. I had to go to hospital the next day and they confirmed I had food poisoning. I tried to contact Nick the Greek through their website but they never responded. I stayed sick for 3 days so I will never eat here again. If you do order...maybe you want to go in person or something because food poisoning is a terrible feeling. I wouldn't ... read more

My first & last time to this newly opened gyro spot in my neighborhood ! Tasteless beef & lamb combo meats , Over priced for small portion of protein ! In my opinion ARBY'S Greek gyro sandwich is much tastier & much better value ! Only thing this spot can beat ARBY'S the quality of container and to go bag ... Plenty place to park a 2 wheel ride.. I hate to write negative reviews .

Food portions were lacking. Barely any protein in my platter for $19.00. No pita, limited rice. Will go to George's Greek down the street or Halal guys.

I ordered via Uber Eata/Postmates. It was a two for one deal and I got one gyro. It was cold. And there was something hard in it that nearly broke my teeth. Never again.

So we've eaten here a number of times and always enjoyed the food but unfortunately I guess our luck ran out. I even said to my girlfriend the gyro didn't taste as good as usual. Little did I know! About 4 am I woke up super nauseous and had diarrhea the rest of the day. 5 days later I'm still not fully recovered and the thought of ever eating another gyro makes me sick which is sad since I love shawarma. We've only had takeout but the place seems clean and the staff is nice but you'll need to decide if it's worth the risk. ... read more
