Holy sheet. I was not expecting to have my socks knocked off when I decided to try this place. I am a sucker for greek food. Nice to see a place other than mexican food. I ordered the gyro salad. Let me just say the pita bread is dangerrous. So delicious and different from other greek places. And that chicken...oh man. So juicy and flavorful. I will definitely be coming back here at least once a week!!!
Husband and I drive ten min. on the freeway (sometimes in traffic) to get this food, even though there is a Greek place across the street from us. Nicks is just what I imagine when I think of Greek food. You also get a ton of food in my opinion, so it is worth it.
I get the gyro with beef lamp. Pretty good compared to other places surrounding the area. I used to like the fries now kind of sick of them. I think they put a little lemon and they are kind of soggy whenever I get them. In general, good for lunch if you work near by.
I am originally Lebanese and come from Detroit Michigan so I'm definitely used to eating Lebanese food. It was a pleasure to have some of the nice things that I haven't had in a while like the falafel hummus the fried lamb with pinenuts the way they cook some of the meats although there were some times that things weren't exactly perfect but things in restaurants can't be perfect all the time can they? Thanks for reading my review. M~
Excellent I really like it as I've eaten there 3 times this week. Would recommend great variety very fresh
Excellent Gyro. The Pork Gyro is excellent. It feels like it is just like they make them in Greece. I Highly recommend this place.
i think the tzatziki they make here is better than others i've had; it's lighter but just as flavorful + tastes very fresh the wrap (pita?) came fluffy and crispy on the edges -- great. tomato, onion, meat, what's not to like? lamb/beef was a bit better in terms of composition than the pork belly for me; soup was a bit more sour than i was expecting (never had that type of soup before) clearly i'm no greek food expert but i'll be trying more, just to learn and compare! thanks for the food
I just had a really disappointing experience at Nick the Greek. I ordered a beef gyro that was advertised as coming with fries, tomatoes, and onions. Honestly, I should've known something was off when I walked in on a Saturday afternoon around 2:30 pm and the grill was already turned off and the place was empty. The gyro I received was cold and awful. The fries were barely there, maybe four tiny, old, wrinkled pieces and the sandwich itself had very little meat. For nearly $14 for a small gyro, this was unacceptable. It didn... read more
Had lunch here today. Got the gyro plate with Pork belly. Not one of the better pork bellies I've had. Meal was just average all the way around. Salad was just lettuce, a cherry tomato and a sprinkle of feta. They have Pepsi brand drinks and no iced tea. My last time coming here.
