This place is my new go-to easy takeout. Great price, fresh, super friendly staff. Tried it out on a whim and I'm very happy I did! Highly recommend the gyro place with beef/lamb. All the sauces are so yummy!

Best addition to the bluffs shopping center! The bowls are the perfect amount of food, chicken is juicy and the sauce is super tasty.

Super good! Tons of food, even in the kids meal. Also, the little honey beignets (loukoumades) are amazing. The service was great and order was right on time. The lamb-beef gyro pita and chicken gyro pita were great. Loved the salad and soup.

The first time I had Nick The Greek, I really liked it. I ordered the chicken gyro pita ($9.95 ). The chicken gyro is the shawarma version - the meat is sliced off a vertical rotisserie spit. Shawarma can sometimes be a little dry, especially when reheated, but I experienced none of that here. The pita was soft, but sturdy enough to hold everything together. Even though I didn't eat it right ... read more

Gyros and Chicken Souvlaki were oh so good! Definitely craving to have them again and would drive 20 minutes. Great tasting food and worth the drive.

Nick The Greek is a great spot, that has a more authentic gyro compared to other restaurants. The differentiating factor? French fries in the gyro. While it doesn't compare to the gyro stands in Greece (ok, no place here in the US would...not to mention the price of 2-3 euros). But beyond that, the gyros are delish - the meat is moist, the sauces are fresh and tasty, the pita fluffy, and the fries add the crisp. Most of the time I find the gyros at other places very...lackluster. So I'm very happy this place is here. ... read more

Wow! Just popped in craving something Greek. Boy are we happy we did! I picked a Gyro Bowl and hubby picked a Greek salad. Both were quick and fabulous! Next time you're in Newport Beach look for them!

I was hoping the food to be better. The fries were some of the worst I have ever had. It seems like they cook them in large batches as they throw a couple in each sandwich as well. They were way past overcooked and inedible. Prices are also kind of high considering the sandwiches are fairly small, Extra meat will cost you four dollars. The lamb beef mix was my favorite, the chicken was dark meat and very dry, the pork belly very fatty, did not enjoy that at all.Service was fine, our food was ready quickly and the restaurant ... read more
