Came in yesterday for my first time, food was so delicious & FRESH, I cannot explain how important it is for my food to be fresh. Presentation was another plus!!! I am truly impressed. I've recently noticed a couple of Nick the Greek locations opening up in the Bay Area, specifically Daly City and SSF. I saw that one had opened up in SSF, and after having delightful experiences at their other recently opened Daly City location I decided to give this one a try. This SSF location is nestled in a business area with a couple of other eateries. Got the greek salad. One of the best I've had. No lettuce, cucumbers as the base. Tomatoes were de-fleshed. Olives had a briny punch. Dressing was not overpowering and tasted fresh. Flavors were well balanced. Grilled chicken tasted great.
Walked in hopeful, walked right back out. There was no one at the counter and no visible way to order except a touchscreen bolted to the wall at belt level. I'm not even tall, and I still had to bend down awkwardly just to see it. No signage, no guidance, no staff--just a poorly thought-out setup that immediately signals how little consideration went into the customer experience. ambiance is awesom. unfortunately service is impersonal. My food took more than half my lunch break (16 min) fries were cold and not a single person was wearing a hair net.
Ordered dinner via Doordash and the chicken souvlaki in each of our dishes was still raw. I'm pregnant and can't afford to get sick so we threw the food away. So disappointing and a waste of money.
Ordered over the holidays and was sorely disappointed it didn't taste fresh at all will not order again
A bare minimum. If you want to grab a quick bite, you could consider this place. Otherwise, plenty of other nice options nearby.
Order extra food and they won't include extra sauce. Even McDonald's does that. Good grief.
