Fabulous. Melt in the mouth lamb gyro and the chicken gyro, very filling. Wonderful customer service. Will stop by again next week.
So yummy especially for vegetarians ! Excellent fresh food with great quantities along with great customer service. I've gone back 3x in 2 weeks! Highly recommend for something new and "healthy"
So impressed with the quality of food! Well done and will be visiting again soon Baklava perfect Beef Lamb Gyro Pita perfectly cooked and meat done to perfection. Rice flavorful and leaves you wanting more !
Solid spot for a gyro bowl and fries. The bowl has it all, rice, meat, veggies, and tasty sauce. It's perfect for one person while the gyro fries were way more than one person would want to eat...but there was an attempt. Staff is always pleasant and the time it takes to receive your order is less than 10 min.
If you are on the go or want to try out some gyro locally I would recommend this place! Staff are super friendly and professional. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Food was tasty and it was fresh. Overall food was mediocre! I had better but this place will do since it was nearby!
I had the opportunity to try out Nick the Greek at a Yelp event at the Veranda in Concord a couple of months back. So I was stoked to try the real thing when I was in Vallejo recently. I still think that Nick does a lot of things right, but overall the shine was off of the apple a bit on my second go around. First off let me begin by saying that I love a place that indulges people like me by putting fries on things like sandwiches or gyros. I will always love Nick for that. But the thing that we ended up really not enjoying... read more
The food wasn't actually bad, the presents was a bit all over the place but over all decent. I really feel the price they are charging was a bit much for what I received. A sauce soaked dish that really masked what was already there, good ingredients. Sometimes less can be more. I look forward to returning and hopefully we can see some improvements. -Jerry A
If you're looking for a more traditional gyro, this is not the place for you. Don't get me wrong, their food is good, the restaurant is clean and the service is fast and friendly; but I was really wanting a gyro with the creamy taste of the tzatziki sauce and they don't serve these. What they do serve is a spin off of a gyro that had a creamy mustard sauce and French fries in the gyro. Good, different, just not what I was craving.
Came to Nick the Greek after watching a movie on a Thursday night. It was pretty busy but we got our food in a reasonable amount of time. I ordered the beef/lamb plate. It came with rice, pita, a side salad. It is definitely a lot of food for one person. I thought the outs was a little on the salty side. I feel like the meat portions were little. Side salad was pretty good and fresh. I tried some of my friend's nick fries and I thought they were okay. Wish the fries were a little more crunchy. But other than that, it was... read more
