The food wasn't actually bad, the presents was a bit all over the place but over all decent. I really feel the price they are charging was a bit much for what I received. A sauce soaked dish that really masked what was already there, good ingredients. Sometimes less can be more. I look forward to returning and hopefully we can see some improvements. -Jerry A
If you're looking for a more traditional gyro, this is not the place for you. Don't get me wrong, their food is good, the restaurant is clean and the service is fast and friendly; but I was really wanting a gyro with the creamy taste of the tzatziki sauce and they don't serve these. What they do serve is a spin off of a gyro that had a creamy mustard sauce and French fries in the gyro. Good, different, just not what I was craving.
Came to Nick the Greek after watching a movie on a Thursday night. It was pretty busy but we got our food in a reasonable amount of time. I ordered the beef/lamb plate. It came with rice, pita, a side salad. It is definitely a lot of food for one person. I thought the outs was a little on the salty side. I feel like the meat portions were little. Food was amazing. The gyro bowls are amazing and pita bread. They once messed up our order by not placing something in our take out, we called inform them of the missing item and they wanted to refund for the mistake. Which was very nice of them but we like their food so much we willing to pick up the missing item but they wanted to add items to take extra on their behalf. So not only good food but great customer service.
Stopped in for first visit. Friendly and fast service. I went with the beef/lamb gyro. I did not order fries in my gyro. Pita is delicious, meat is tasty with the right amount of sauce. I will be back to try more items

My first time trying nick the Greek, I got the Chicken Gyro with Greek Fries, pretty good.
HELLLA GOOD!! We only have 1 or 2 Greek options in Vallejo and I don't really like one of them. But Nick's was sooooooooo good! I ordered a lamb bowl with the sauce on the side and it seems like they first made it wrong with the sauce on it. BUT instead of throwing it away or wasting it, they decided to give me the bowl they messed up AND my correct bowl. I love seeing new places to eat in Vallejo! I heard about Nick the Greek and thought I'd give them a try. My food was 7/10, because it can be a little more flavorful. Next time I would ask for more sauce on the side. But I am giving 4 stars for their timeliness and clean storefront! Next on my hit list from their menu: Greek salad and a baklava.

Those bottles are imported from Greece. They have their dates opposite of us in the U.S. First number is the day and the second one is the month. Rest assured we would never think of selling expired drinks.
