I went to an Nick the Greek today for the first time I'm a tad bit disappointed the hummus isn't very creamy it's a little too tart with lemon or something the Greek salad doesn't have a whole Lotta taste the chicken is just OK I think I'll stick with Q' Halal there's is a lot better And the pita bread it's kind of hard The falafel is probably the best thing on my plate
Discovered Nick's on the Peninsular. Love their lamb and beef bowl. This my kind of fast food. Please open a store in Marin
Just what Vallejo needed! Despite the diversity of my city, we are somewhat lacking in food choices. I think adding a Greek spot was a great idea. For about $36 (before tip) I got a lamb-beef gyro meal, a gyro bowl, and a Greek yogurt topped with honey and baklava. Peeking in the back behind the register, you can see the cooks cutting the meat straight off the trompo per order. The inside was super clean and I noticed an employee cleaning the seats and tables. First time eating at Nick the Greek. Walking in the place was clean and I was greeted instantly. Staff was friendly and helpful with explaining the dishes. Food came out quickly and was hot. Quality was awesome, portions were generous, and our meals were delicious. We ordered the Gyro Plate (Beef/Lamb with rice) and the Gyro Bowl (Beef/Lamb) Decided to go back up for desert (Baklava), and it was fantastic too. A friend picked up a meal fit for a king during their opening free give away. I will definitely be going myself.
I came here with my girlfriend and our kids the place was so clean the staff was very hospitable and the food was amazing. The kids love the kids play with meat and we also got the one with chicken it was delicious that Nick's fries were so good and I would definitely recommend the beef lamb Gyro it was so delicious my girlfriend got the Greek salad with chicken and said it was so tasty they're dipping sauces are so good definitely definitely will come back to this plac
