Food was amazing. The gyro bowls are amazing and pita bread. They once messed up our order by not placing something in our take out, we called inform them of the missing item and they wanted to refund for the mistake. Which was very nice of them but we like their food so much we willing to pick up the missing item but they wanted to add items to take extra on their behalf. So not only good food but great customer service.
Stopped in for first visit. Friendly and fast service. I went with the beef/lamb gyro. I did not order fries in my gyro. Pita is delicious, meat is tasty with the right amount of sauce. I will be back to try more items
This is a very good place to eat due to the nice atmosphere and simple Greek food they offer
My first time trying nick the Greek, I got the Chicken Gyro with Greek Fries, pretty good.
HELLLA GOOD!! We only have 1 or 2 Greek options in Vallejo and I don't really like one of them. But Nick's was sooooooooo good! I ordered a lamb bowl with the sauce on the side and it seems like they first made it wrong with the sauce on it. BUT instead of throwing it away or wasting it, they decided to give me the bowl they messed up AND my correct bowl. I love seeing new places to eat in Vallejo! I heard about Nick the Greek and thought I'd give them a try. My food was 7/10, because it can be a little more flavorful. Next time I would ask for more sauce on the side. But I am giving 4 stars for their timeliness and clean storefront! Next on my hit list from their menu: Greek salad and a baklava.
Great flavor and quick service. I love the gyro bowl with beef/lamb. Packed to the brim and lots of textures.
I started stopping by Nick the Greek on my commute home a few months back and they have been a 10/10 every time. I've only ordered the falafel bowl, but the quality, flavor and texture are absolutely perfect every time. The rice consistency and softness is on point, the falafel has just the right amount of crispy outer layer, the cucumber and tomato are never too soft and the sauces they use are tasty. I'm always happy to see new food places opening in Vallejo as we don't have many good food spots. I ordered the beef/lamb gyros and a couple of the baklava. The flavor was good on the meat, but I was hoping for a really good, traditional gyro with the cucumber/Greek yogurt sauce. Their sauce was not traditional. No bits of cucumber in the sauce at all, and the sauce was really kind of thick which made it dry and not taste as fresh. Then I saw the fries on top.
