I was reaaaally looking forward to trying this place since we have one in Sac. TBH, there's nothing to brag about. In my opinion Halal Guys is much more tastier and the sauces don't even compare. I tried the Gyro Bowl with Chicken, opted to have all the toppings. The chicken was dryyyy, unbearable TBH. The rice wasn't that soft nor tasty, compared to Halal Guys. I don't think I will be running back for a second visit anytime soon.

YUM the lamb gyro is to die for. I've been searching for a good Greek place in Davis and this is it. I got the fries on the side and even their fries are excellent!

I've eaten here a couple times now. I had a Gyro the first time. I've had some skewers. Tried the hummus with pita. I've only ever had my food to go though. I'm not sure if that changes the quality of my review? But in general, can we all agree that gyros seem to always be sort of dry and fall apart most of the time? Flavors were good, in between chugs of water to moisten my mouth. Hummus taste was below standard. Safeway has better tasting stuff. Also, pita bread served with it was cold and I ended up hitting my o... read more

Nick's is my go-to spot for something quick and fresh. Love the Chicken Gyro Pita and Greek Fries (feta, garlic, and green onion = best combo ever). I highly recommend this spot if you're in Davis for lunch!

Second time back for seconds less than a week apart! The food is hot, fresh, and so yummy! Accidentally found in downtown Davis and both times not crowded with superior customer service! The first time was a female clerk who was so helpful in helping us decide how we wanted our burgers. The second time, my clerk, Robbie, was extremely helpful and patient as I figured out my special order gyro. As I was waiting and looking at the take out menu I realized I ordered the wrong thing but he immediately talked to the cooks and put... read more

Decided to visit again on a quiet Wednesday. This time my husband and I ordered the plate with rice, beef lamb Gyro meat, side salad, grilled pita triangles and tzatziki. Hands-down delicious and fun to put together just the right bite!

The Gyros is the closest thing I can get to what I grew up with in Germany. Though I am able to take a brief trip down memory lane while consuming my gyros I find myself rudely taken aback by the saltiness which can only be comparable to the Dead Sea. I'm pretty convinced that had I thrown this in the bath tub I could easily have the same benefits of visiting the Dead Sea albeit there'd be a bit of greasiness to it.

Food is decent. Not bad, but also not surprisingly good. I love their frozen yogurt with baklava and honey! ! I would go there just for the frozen yogurt with baklava.
