I stopped by this cute little shop after going to insomnia cookies. I was pleasantly satisfied with some fresh delicious gyros and salad and fries. Yummy yum yum. There are many options on the menu and it's definitely on my list to stop by again. I only wish there was one closer to me in vacaville. Hint hint.
Food was ok. I was expecting the flavors would be more flavorful. It was just bland. They also were limited on what was on the menu. Everyone was so involved some flooding that happened and 2 ladies was just running around saying flooding in the bathroom or something. If I had known there was a flood from the bathroom prior to ordering I would have not ordered the food. I really didn't like what I ordered. I intended to ordered something by else . Not sure if I will come back.
Tried this spot on a late night out after the bars. Ordered the beef gyro with a side of greek fries. The pita bread was soft and fresh, so the overall gyro was pretty good. I enjoyed the greek fries that are seasoned with cheese and a bit limp which I prefer. The interior is clean and spacious. The food was ready pretty quick in ~10 minutes. Good food to end a good night

Nick the Greek is located on E St in Davis! Amazing location that is walking distance to other establishments downtown. I got the gyro wrap with fries inside. Absolutely delicious! The meat is tender and everything seems to be made in an incredibly fresh manner. It is a hair salty for my taste, but still very very good! The reason I am giving Nick 4/5 stars is the last time I was there it was a little dirty inside. I appreciate their willingness to understand that I don't want fries but more salad as an option! Other places want to add to the price for such a substitution.
Came here for a quick bite and ordered the gyro bowl. The spicy sauce made the bowl tastes a lot better! The bowl had a nice variety of vegetables, rice and meat. I think that a less yogurt would've made the bowl better since it was pretty much soaked in sauce/yogurt. The cashier was nice and even offered a free drink because I was waiting for a bit to get my order taken.
if I could give this place a million stars I would. The food is always on point and always soooo yummy! The portions are great and a good ratio of meat , salad , sauce and rice! The person who took my order was very nice and got me the food so quick! The place was empty but people kept coming in so I know it was a popular spot!
Love their Greek yogurt! Get it with the baklava - dessert and it's even better! Service was quick and great staff!
