GREENBRAE location - The place is disgustingly dirty. There was spilled drinks around the soda area & most tables were dirty. My friend ordered something for takeout and the meat was undercooked. I don't know who is running this place but I'm surprised it's still in business. I think the Novato location is way different.
Honestly, I would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be coming back. The service was poor, and the food was just okay--lacked flavor and did not taste very fresh. The fries came out cold and soggy. I suggest going somewhere else for lunch.
Sadly, this location should go out of business. This is the second time in a row the food quality was so poor (dried out lamb, rice, etc.), it was hardly edible. Contrasted with the Novato location, which serves excellent quality food, the Greenbrae location apparently has NO MANAGER. I was told by one of the employess that not only was no manager on duty, but the store incredibly operates without any manager, at all, which explains everything.
So disappointing. I had the lamb/ beef plate with pita and added a side of hummus, and it was all sooooo dry, including the hummus (how?). Not to mention, it was $5 to add hummus which was a tiny scoop alongside the flavorless fries, meat and tomatoes. An extra star because the frozen yogurt is edible. I have yet to find good Greek food in Marin!

First off, I love Greek food. I lived for many years in Melbourne, Australia, which has a substantial Greek population and myriad places to enjoy their delicious food. Sadly, Nick's wouldn't fly down there. I was so excited to see the chain arrive at Bon Air shopping center, but the food has been a major disappointment. I've tried the beef-and-lamb gyros meat a couple of times, which itself is something of a faux pas because it's really only supposed to be just lamb. Gyros and souvlakis are supposed to have long luxurious sl... read more

Terribly GREASY food with an overabundance of salt. Employees are very rude. They barely speak English, thus you will often get the wrong food, which they will refuse to give you credit for.

Messed up my order 3 out of 3 times. Had to toss it out because of a dairy allergy. Tried to reach out to manager without any luck- also through the app and social media. The Novato location is good- I won't be returning to this one.

The food. The soup was had very little taste or substance. Normally it's also served with pita bread but not here, that would have been another $3.
Business response:
Hi Cindy, We’re sorry to hear you were unhappy with your soup. If you had let us know at the time, we would have been more than happy to replace it for you. As for the pita bread, it is a separate menu item and not included with the soup — we don’t advertise it as such.
I ordered 4 gyros, all checked "sauce on the side". The order was delivered with no sauce at all. Have you ever tried to eat a dry gyro?
