First off, I love Greek food. I lived for many years in Melbourne, Australia, which has a substantial Greek population and myriad places to enjoy their delicious food. Sadly, Nick's wouldn't fly down there. I was so excited to see the chain arrive at Bon Air shopping center, but the food has been a major disappointment. I've tried the beef-and-lamb gyros meat a couple of times, which itself is something of a faux pas because it's really only supposed to be just lamb. Terribly GREASY food with an overabundance of salt. Employees are very rude. They barely speak English, thus you will often get the wrong food, which they will refuse to give you credit for.

Messed up my order 3 out of 3 times. Had to toss it out because of a dairy allergy. Tried to reach out to manager without any luck- also through the app and social media. The Novato location is good- I won't be returning to this one.

The food. The soup was had very little taste or substance. Normally it's also served with pita bread but not here, that would have been another $3.

I ordered 4 gyros, all checked "sauce on the side". The order was delivered with no sauce at all. Have you ever tried to eat a dry gyro?
I love the idea of Greek food but this place was a disappointment. The lamb and steak gyro had way too much Tahini sauce including 6 stupid French fries shoved into that cost an extra $4 and the quality of the meat seemed sub par. The Greek salad seemed fresh... nice people working there...

Placed a order, I went to pick it up the short girls said "it's not ready yet. It will be 5 minutes " I said ok. And told her the name of the order. She bags it up and looks at me then she puts it on the pickup shelf. Meanwhile I'm sitting there waiting. She knew the name of my order. And didn't say a word to me. I had to go back up and ask. Very dirty restaurant, with bland, tasteless food. Staff was nice, but almost all kids with little guidance on how to run (or clean) a restaurant.
