Came by for the free meal on opening day. Had never tried Nick's food before, but now I'm a believer! Got a beef and lamb gyro that was delicious with a capitol D! Served hot, fresh, and tasty. Yum! The staff was working so hard, and everyone was really nice. Loved the ambiance of the place. Great seating choices. Already looking forward to coming back for the soup and falafel. Thanks Nick for lunch!

Food is ok. Got the Tziki Crunch salad with beef added on. Salad was ok but beef looked like a leftover hamburger patty from yesterday. It was dry as the dessert and lacked seasoning. I asked for an extra sauce and after spending $20 on a salad I was charged $.89 cents for the sauce. Never again.
The lady greeting customers and taking their orders today at 8:05pm is either very unpleasant or having a bad day. (I think the former since Ive encountered her once before.) She got frustrated when I inquired about their new froyo special. After taking my order, she exclaimed a profanity in Spanish (which I understood and is equivalent to the English F-word). Management may consider moving her to the back/kitchen. On the other hand, the froyo was great. Sadly, it was soured by her attitude.
This location is TERRIBLE. They make the food incorrectly an often and on my most recent order the fries used in my bowl were so old and stale that they could not have possibly been from that day. It's like they took day old fries and then tried to fry them again that morning, and left them out all day.I'm talking completely inedible. Not to mention they had that old oil smell. Ruined the whole bowl - $17 straight into the trash. I took pictures of it and immediately wrote in about the problem less than an hour after orderin... read more
GLUTEN FREE EATERS BEWARE! The Staff kwno nothing about ingredients. I ordered a gluten free dish for my wife, who has celiac disease and can get sick if she eats wheat. The staff assured me it was GF. I took it home and found pita bread mixed in the meal. When I returned the meal and asked for my money back, the manager told me pita bread was gluten free (it is made of wheat flour) and did not want to do anything. After an argument she only gave me partial credit. She refused to give me the contact information for the ... read more

GREENBRAE location - The place is disgustingly dirty. There was spilled drinks around the soda area & most tables were dirty. My friend ordered something for takeout and the meat was undercooked. I don't know who is running this place but I'm surprised it's still in business. I think the Novato location is way different.
Honestly, I would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be coming back. The service was poor, and the food was just okay--lacked flavor and did not taste very fresh. The fries came out cold and soggy. I suggest going somewhere else for lunch.
Sadly, this location should go out of business. This is the second time in a row the food quality was so poor (dried out lamb, rice, etc.), it was hardly edible. Contrasted with the Novato location, which serves excellent quality food, the Greenbrae location apparently has NO MANAGER. I was told by one of the employess that not only was no manager on duty, but the store incredibly operates without any manager, at all, which explains everything.
So disappointing. I had the lamb/ beef plate with pita and added a side of hummus, and it was all sooooo dry, including the hummus (how?). Not to mention, it was $5 to add hummus which was a tiny scoop alongside the flavorless fries, meat and tomatoes. An extra star because the frozen yogurt is edible. I have yet to find good Greek food in Marin!
