The staff really stepped up to the plate on their grand opening. We ordered the beef/lamb gyro ($12.50) and I was surprised to see French fries inside? At first I thought it was going to take the place of the protein but that was not the case. Easy enough to remove and just eat on the side. There was plenty of flavorful meat and the fillings complimented the entree. They gave us a complimentary order of fries and that was nice. They were okay and a little catsup and salt fixed em up. Nick the Greek at Santa Ana was so disappointing!! I've been to the La Mirada and Fullerton locations - the food at these 2 locations is great, large portions and the orders are correct and complete. At Santa Ana I ordered the Prasini salad with an added chicken skewer, side of pita and tzatziki sauce. The salad bowl was about 1/2 full. The chicken looked and tasted plain and looked unappetizing the way the chunks were just thrown in the salad instead of on a skewer. Very popular but honestly the portions are very little and not so flavory as they look on the picture, also the place was not well clean, everything was a little disappointing, staff is fast and nice but the food is not exactly what I expected.

Was pretty excited to have something different in the area to grab a bite. Maybe it was because it was the end of a day but I was very disappointed when I went to Nick The Greek. Mediterranean/ Greek food is suppose to be fresh and that just wasn't what I got. I ordered a Gyro. It came stacked as it should and even included french fries on it.
