Permanently closed with no response upon inquiry if reopening. Sign hanging says closed for remodeling?? Been like that for 4-5 months now and it's a new restaurant, only open for 2 years

I have not been to Greece, but in my hometown of Toronto, Ontario we have a huge Greektown and it is tremendous, some say nearly as good as going to Athens. I don't expect this place to be like that, in fact, I expect it to be more of a western style type of Greek cuisine. Sit down Greek fast food. Order at the counter, pick your food up from the counter, clean your own table. The food wasn't anything more than 'meh' and for the price- it's not for me.
The normal excellent food and service has been subpar the past two visits. I'm a weekly online customer. But past two orders nothing has been correct including ordered items missing. Today I ordered gyro bowl with no onions but it's full of them. And the worst of all... No Pita!!! How can they send a customer away without pita. Someone's been asleep at the switch for awhile and I'm tired of paying for those mistakes. Yafa has excellent Greek food and are very conscientious. See ya later Nick!
I read the reviews and wanted to try this place, but I ordered a bowl and it was swimming in salad dressing. I tried to use paper towels to get some of it off, but even after 5 towels soaked through it was still inedible! I don't think I'll go back because it was so bad, but I would encourage anyone getting a bowl to get the dressing on the side so you don't waste your money and go hungry.

Sorry, I know the owners would like to know....I arrived there today at 9:30 pm and wanted to enjoy food with my family by dining in but as soon as I start giving my order, the person behind register who was constantly busy on his phone texting stated that we are closing soon and cannot do dine in. I know there service is usually fast and they could've served and get me out of there by 10pm. I ended up glowing somewhere. Quality of these employees are not owners fault. I will be back again but not at 9:30, Lol

My mom and I were excited to try Nick the Greek and got it for dinner one night. We had ordered at the counter for to-go and got 2 gyros and 2 sides of fries. When we got home, we had about 6 fries each in the box with our gyros but no other side of fries. Other than that, the food was good and I thought the fries had a good seasoning on them, the 6 that I got to try. Very hesitant to go back.

As much as I love Greek food and Nick's in particular, they continue to get our orders wrong. For the amount of money we pay, $65 for a family of 4, it's simply not worth it. Most especially when we order online and there is no excuse for not getting it right.
