We stopped in after shopping at academy and I must say the food was really good! I had the lamb gyro with fries and my wife had the gyro bowl. The gyros were seasoned really well. The fries could have been a little crispier for my liking, but they were also seasoned well. I ordered the baklava for dessert and it was really good as well. My only complaint is that the service could have been better. The girl behind the counter (looked about high school age) didn't greet us when we walked in or when we approached the counter. ... read more

The food is amazing !! Customer service could be better . The place is nice and clean and you will not be disappointed !!
Good gyro but not very hot. I would maybe go in to order rather than ordering ahead for carry-out I'm future. The doughnuts were delicious. I'd go back for a quick tasty meal when I'm in town.

Recommend it FOOD: 3.8/5 Although the pork lacked sodium, both the Chicken Souvlaki and Pork Souvlaki were seasoned fairly well and had a nice char. The Pita bread was nicely warmed, resulting in delicious Souvlaki Pitas. In addition, the fries were scrumptious, and the tzatziki sauce was particularly noteworthy for its delightful flavor. PRICE: The price point is high for the portion. If you want to make it a complete meal, it can add up quickly.

I love greek food.... in fact we're traveling to Greece to enjoy it even more.... so i was excited seeing Nick the Greek on Yelp. I had he chicken gyro which was really good. The greek salad was not what we were expecting.....it had no lettuce but instead was filled with cucumber and tomatoes. Making this into a traditional salad would be better in my opinion. Overall a nice option in Olathe!

Service was fast but it's too expensive for what you get. They put fries on their gyro sandwich, which was a nice change, but still not worth the price. Falafel side was average. There are other Greek restaurants in town which charge half the price for the same quantity of food.

Update. Still the best Greek around! Their beef/ lamb bowl the best. Try it. The staff always friendly and helpful too! No McDonalds for me anymore :)

Ordered the Nicks Fries, the pictures on Yelp looked amazing! I love lamb and Gyros, also love fries, thought this would be a slam dunk. Saw there was some sauce on top with lots of green onions. Since they were called "Nicks fries" and the name of the place was "Nicks" I thought, ah, must be one of their signature dishes. I ordered these and had Grub hub deliver, always a "no no" with fried food, but gave it the old "college try" anyways... I am NOT a picky eater, I am a Billy goat, will eat anything.
