The food is good, the Beefteki is great. But the chicken souvlaki, is low quality chicken. And I wish they offered Coke. But we have to talk about the service. It's on a different spectrum. Very very slow. Over 30 minutes! That's not sustainable. The ambiance is okay, music is very loud for being in the suburbs. It's not LA, love the music style, but too loud. The crew and customers are all taking loudly just to communicate. You would expect the manager offer some concession for 30 minutes of waiting.

Randomly realized that this place just opened up. With that, everybody should bring their patience as this new location gets busy with a line out the door. There may be a small wait time for food that is freshly prepared. This is a welcome addition to our neighborhood. We stopped in and ordered a gyros sandwich with a side of fries and a drink. Came in on day two of them being open and they were running like it's been forever. Service was quick and the food was prepared in a reasonable amount of time. It was delicious! I had to fight my kids to eat some, because they quickly wanted my lunch.
So excited for Nick the Greek to be open in San Clemente! I will definitely be a regular here. The staff are friendly and kind, the quality of the food is outstanding, and the location is great. The chicken souvlaki plate is 10/10.
Attended the grand opening in San Clemente today. The line was out the door with people anticipating the free tasting menu. The service was outstanding considering the large crowd all patiently waiting in line. Every staff member i interacted with had a bug smile on their face. The hummus was awful. It tasted sour and not like real authentic Greek hummus at all. The chicken kabob was half burnt and at the bottom was tons of grease which I cannot and would eat due to health reasons. So we spent the money and had to throw it all away. A total waste. I would never come here again or recommend it to anyone. I love Greek/Mediterranean food, but this was not it in the slightest. Horrible experience. I'd give it negative zero stars if I could. What a shame.

I started out liking this place. In fact, I probably have spent a couple of hundred dollars here in the last few months but after tonight's meal and after the last few meals, I will never be here again. We had a beef ground beef type of gyro, on top of four other things we ordered and the gyro was way way over salted. It was inedible . This is on top of some other stuff. I'd highly stay cautious of this place when deciding to come and eat here. Went here for lunch with a buddy of mine, we went around 11:40-50 (almost an hour after opening) and when we got there no happy greeting, no smells from cooking food, no music, etc. My buddy went up to order first and started asking about portion sizes and meats, he asked about there chicken and while asking the cashier about the chicken she asked the cooker if the chicken was ready (in Spanish) and he said no it's not ready yet, she then proceeded t... read more
