We came here for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The person taking our order was welcoming and friendly. Hubby ordered the beef and lamb gyro. The meats were delicious, and he really liked the tzatziki sauce. I had the falafel gyro. The falafels were so light and flavorful! I really enjoyed the gyro--it wasn't too salty and tasted incredibly fresh. The Greek yogurt sauce it came with was absolutely delicious and complemented it perfectly. Definitely deserving of five stars! The Greek yogurt itself also stood out; it tasted like authentic, homemade yogurt, something you don't often find, and it was amazing. The beef/lamb gyro was delicious! Pretty affordable for downtown Palo Alto, and there was a hassle-free self-service order kiosk. Lots of 2010s pop over the speakers, clean establishment.
Nick the Greek is all fresh and beautiful with a great vive and excellent food. Palo Altans are happy Nick has arrived with its great menu.
So excited this place opened on University Ave! One of our favorite places to go when we're craving gyros. Always fresh, good portions and reasonably priced. We had the lamb gyro and plate. Both were excellent! Will definitely be coming back.
