Tried this spot for the first time tonight! They had a wide variety on their menu. We got a chicken bowl and chicken sandwich and it was delicious. The sauce used in the sandwich is great!
Hands down best gyro you will find anywhere ! The frys are just as good I'd suggest the Greek frys
Employees are nice. The food is delish. Tried the chicken bowl and gyro plate. Overall I would come here again. It's a little hidden in a corner over by 5 below , wings top. They have baklava too !!!
Rob the super friendly PR person gave me the run down on their newest franchise opening in Phoenix. Nick the Greek is a casual restaurant from California and their Phoenix location has been open since 2022. The order and dining area is open and welcoming. I visited this location recently and was incredibly disappointed by the customer service and overall atmosphere. The moment I walked through the door, the cook made direct eye contact with me and gave me a glaring, dirty look, which immediately made the environment feel hostile and uncomfortable. Delicious! Unfortunately I saw the cashier empty the garbage without gloves, come back in store and help a customer with their food order and NEVER WASHED OR SANITIZE HER HANDS!
We were optimistic going into Nick The Greek for takeout, but unfortunately, it was very underwhelming. We ordered a beef and lamb gyro, a gyro bowl, fries, and a Diet Pepsi. The portion sizes were disappointing -- especially the $12.50 gyro, which didn't have enough meat and felt small for the price. The gyro bowl was nothing special, with more rice than meat, and the Diet Pepsi tasted off, like it was missing syrup. The only positive was the fresh-cut fries. Sadly, we won't be returning.
I thought that I found another happy place eating here last time, but this time, I've had a change of heart. I ordered the gyros platter which comes with all of the fixings to build your own pita bread bites but this time what they provided me looked more like a kids meal. Very disappointed!
