I don't know when/if I've had Greek food before trying Nick the Greek, but now I feel like I've been missing out! I first tried this place in March after being recommended by a friend and since then, I've must have revisited half a dozen times. I've tried their beef/lamb gyro, chicken gyro, Nick's fries w/ beef/lamb, and their beef/lamb bowl. Food was good and it was ready within minutes of ordering. I got the lamb beef with rice and pita. I think it was a kids menu item, actually. It wasn't a ton of food since I wasn't that hungry, and worth it for the price! It was pretty salty, and it was my first time there so I'm not sure if it's always like that, but it was tasty. I just drank a lot of water. Would go back again!
Located in a small plaza on Imperial and La Mirada, Nick the Greek has big flavor! I scouted the menu prior to visiting but ended up being pleasantly surprised to see a Pork Belly Gyro option, I opted in on that, it was delicious. All the ingredients felt fresh and not sitting out. Great casual Greek restaurant. On the corner of La Mirada Blvd and Imperial Hwy by the PIH medical building. I got the beef/lamb gyro plate and my 11yr old got the kids version. It was plenty of food, we could have split the one adult portion! She liked that the pita bread came out hot. French fries are thin cut with seasoning. Love this place! Tasty, fast Greek food. I enjoyed the gyro while my wife had chicken kabobs. The Greek fries are awesome. The staff was friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend and will be back soon.
Went to Nick the Greek at the La Mirada location with my parents last Friday. I was curious about this place because I'd noticed another one opened in San Dimas. We ordered two chicken gyro sandwiches, a pork one, and a beef one. We also ordered two salads and a lemon chicken soup. I explained to the woman at the register we'd never been and she was kind, patient, made suggestions, and answered all my questions. Good food, and they pack on the proteins. I got the chicken salad which could have used a lil more overall flavor BUT the chicken was delicious.
Absolutely amazing food and service and at great prices too!! Cannot go wrong with these guys - highly recommended! Ordered Uber Eats with them and I am one happy camper
