It was my first time trying this place, I used Uber eats. I got a chicken gyro bowl with fries as my base and it was soooo good. The fries had the perfect seasoning on them, they were the skinny kind and it was so good. The chicken was soft and flavorful as well. The salad that came with it had a good sauce, it had just the right amount of tanginess and the yogurt dressing on top of the chicken was refreshing too. Overall very good and I will be ordering food from here again :)
We were in the area and decided to pick up dinner. This was our first time here and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is esthetically pleasant and staff friendly, polite, and attentive. Now let's talk about the food, we ordered the chicken souvlaki bowl. Wow, this dish was bursting with amazing flavors with fresh ingredients. SO SO GOOD you wouldn't ever think it was a chain. Food is 5 star worthy every single time. Wish I could get reward points. The wraps are so full of flavor, the garlic fries are delicious and don't even get me started on the Greek frozen yogurt with Baclava. Holy Moly- best dessert ever.
Been looking for something similar to Go Greek Frozen Yogurt in Beverly Hills and this may be the only place that offers it...only downside is they only have one flavor-plain. The primary offers food and this is simply one of their dessert offerings so it's wrong to expect them to carry an abundance Greek yogurt flavors. It's not as rich and creamy as I desired but still good. Definitely would come back when I'm in the area and looking for something soothing on a hot day.
I don't know when/if I've had Greek food before trying Nick the Greek, but now I feel like I've been missing out! I first tried this place in March after being recommended by a friend and since then, I've must have revisited half a dozen times. I've tried their beef/lamb gyro, chicken gyro, Nick's fries w/ beef/lamb, and their beef/lamb bowl. Food was good and it was ready within minutes of ordering. I got the lamb beef with rice and pita. I think it was a kids menu item, actually. It wasn't a ton of food since I wasn't that hungry, and worth it for the price! It was pretty salty, and it was my first time there so I'm not sure if it's always like that, but it was tasty. I just drank a lot of water. Would go back again!
Located in a small plaza on Imperial and La Mirada, Nick the Greek has big flavor! I scouted the menu prior to visiting but ended up being pleasantly surprised to see a Pork Belly Gyro option, I opted in on that, it was delicious. All the ingredients felt fresh and not sitting out. Great casual Greek restaurant. On the corner of La Mirada Blvd and Imperial Hwy by the PIH medical building. I got the beef/lamb gyro plate and my 11yr old got the kids version. It was plenty of food, we could have split the one adult portion! She liked that the pita bread came out hot. French fries are thin cut with seasoning. Love this place! Tasty, fast Greek food. I enjoyed the gyro while my wife had chicken kabobs. The Greek fries are awesome. The staff was friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend and will be back soon.
