Let's start off with this, I absolutely love the food from here. BUT. I just left with the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I was ordering food and the person behind the counter, with green hair, Pokémon hat, piercings, and AirPod in the right ear, never engaged with me when I wanted to order. I said hi and he mumbled under his breath and I couldn't hear him and I looked at my husband for confirmation. My husband didn't hear either so he asked what he said. Ordered the gyro plate and I could taste the dirty kitchen in the onions and salad. I could not stomach the food at all, and it was hardly Greek tasting. #notgood
I've tried it twice and both times I got sick although I have to admit it's tasty. Just not worth the aftermath.
Really like this place but our orders are never consistent. One time it's 100% and the next time half our order is incorrect. I always have to remind my fiance to check before he leaves but he forgets.
Today, I decided to try this new Greek spot. I ordered Greek salad. It had no lettuce, a bowl full of tomatoes and chicken chopped in bits for $17. I get more discouraged trying new spots who would rather take money than pride themselves on a delicious meal. There was no flavor at all.
I really appreciated the front counter person customer service in explaining how everything is made to order. I pre-ordered to pick up my dinner before they close. Everything is packed correctly. To my disappointment, the chicken bowl had no flavor. Humus was the only item I ate. I just don't know why they sell it only by the scoop. I usually buy humus by the container with extra pitas. Nothing exciting or extra special to refer anyone here. A waste of money since most thrown out.
We ate there 5 months ago and the food was good. Last month we picked up and it was awful. The gyros was the consistency of shoe leather. The salad seemed a little old and not crisp. They don't even have turnip pickles.
Okay honestly I'm just really disappointed about this place. I came here because of all the good reviews and was tremendously let down. I order the gyro plate with chicken and the chicken was dry! The rice was whatever and didn't really have seasoning, and the pita bread was okay. I would honestly recommend going to the Green Olive! Which is still located in La Mirada and it's A THOUSAND TIMES BETTER! I've been to the other locations, and it was much better. Prices are high for the quality of food you receive here. My chicken had bones unfortunately . They gave me such little rice it was as if they sprinkled a few grains of rice in my bowl. I would avoid this location I was disappointed. The service here has been negative experiences. The first time I was picking up food for my coworkers, and they forgot a few orders and my manager had to drive back and let them know.
