Just opened and kids and I went to lunch there today. Really good and I was so happy that it was the first place to get my kids to like Greek/Med food; We got Gyro, Falafel and Pork plates. All pretty legit and the pork was a huge surprise as you don't see much pork in Med restaurants. Glad to have this new addition to the hood and hope they stick around a bit.
Stopped by for grand opening day. Nice addition to this mini mall. They are so nice. And working so hard! It's a convenient option for fast casual in the neighborhood. Tried a bunch of things. All quite good and fresh. The standout was the salad with a zingy tzatziki and the tasty hearty falafel. Delicious. I always park around the corner or across the street and walk over when going to this strip mall. The parking lot is a disaster. Tried a sample of the Greek frozen yogurt, so good. Will definitely go back.
This place just opened in Marina del Rey! If you love Greek food or even if you don't love Greek food definitely the place to go! Look at the amazing food that they have really nice people cool ambiance atmosphere, awesome!
I've been wanting to try Nick the Greek forever but since my husband doesn't like Greek food and I found myself on my own today, I stopped in for a "to go" lunch order. I ordered the traditional Greek Salad with house dressing and added a chicken kabob. The salad was $11.25 and my total was $17.83 making the chicken kabob $6.58. Absolutely not. Had the chicken plates added falafel, 1 baklava.. Pretty mid, nothing overly memorable or special, couldn't bring myself to finish it all, but it was fast and convenient, and not overly oily or processed I don't think, so a winner. Unfortunately there was tons of rice and just a little smidge of chicken, and the veggies were not as fresh as I had hoped, borderline wilted. Had an issues with them months ago (they failed to include the gyro in a gyro salad). Figured I'd give them another try. Well, at least they are consistent. Order delivered. .. no gyro. No need to go back. Ever.
I'm a big nick the Greek fan but this location has major problems. Quality here is not consistent with the locations. I do not like to complain about service at somewhat fast food but I've given this place so many chances. The vibe is just off here do not go until the can figure their business.
Will not be going back there, for the price of the Meals portions were small,... The bottom of our pita bread was burnt, The salads were a lot of red onion and tomato, Chicken needed more flavor along with the rice Basically just an okay meal...
Super underwhelmed with this place. It's fine for fast food Greek food, but it's just not good. Even the fries were just bad. Edible and open late I guess.
