Yumm! Love the food here, my favorite is the frozen yogurt with honey and baklava, after having a lamb and beef gyro or gyro bowl. Also their Greek salad is scrumptious. No lettuce just cucumbers, tomatoes, feta , olives and Greek dressing! I'm here weekly it's an affordable, healthy and delicious
Overall a sound place to eat. I enjoy the various plate options. Each plate being customizable to your liking. The meat tastes fresh and the salad and other side dishes are of good consistency. They have a friendly and quick staff that is well trained and seems to genuinely enjoy being there. There are tables to sit inside if you would like while also offering takeout. Overall I would recommend it.
Love having a Greek restaurant innNovato!! Had a gyro and Greek fries and baklava!! All were delish.
Third time here. I've loved the lamb and beef Gyros. This time the meat was quite dry and there was a poor distribution of the fries, olives (only 1), tomatoes and sauce. Something just wasn't the same as the other two times. Yes the staff are friendly, but it also appeared there was a party going on in the kitchen area while meals were being cooked and prepped. Lots of laughing and socializing. Maybe that's why the food wasn't up to par this time. I'll give it another visit, but I'd like to see more focus on the cooking and... read more
This place has potential but needs some work. Interior is pleasant and The employees are very warm and helpful.. that being said, something needs improvement in the kitchen. Chicken gyro was tasty but pita was pretty soggy and ended up having to treat it as a bowl because it broke apart and became a mess. The fries were so bad it inspired me to write this review.. cold, soggy, bland.. pretty much everything you don't want with fries - there is no way they were fresh. It's a new establishment so hopefully they can fix some of... read more
Delicious skewers, juicy and moist gyro, my whole family loves Nick the Greek! I'm so glad my boys love all the food, toddlers aren't too easy to please. We ordered the chicken skewer plate, as well as beef/lamb gyro with added hummus. Everything from the Greek salad to hummus, pitas, gyro and chicken are all on point! So grateful for Nick the Greek, the family now have one more delivery option for the lazy days! Highly recommending chicken skewer, beef/lamb gyro, hummus, pitas, Greek salad. The dessert were too sweet ... read more
First time here. I was expecting more. I ordered the pork souvlaki gyro. Rather than have thinly sliced pieces of beef or lamb, the gyro was filled with chunks of skewered pork. The pork had good flavor. The gyro was a bit challenging to eat since the pork was in chunks rather than slices. (To the owners or management: Perhaps you could each chunk in half or more so that the meat is more evenly distributed throughout the gyro). My daughter ordered the beef gyro. She liked it but said the chicken gyro was bet... read more
So nice to have a place with Greek gyros and similar. They just opened recently and have been good the first two times we went. They must have had something going wrong in the kitchen yesterday. The gyro was made wrong the first time and then the second time was very thick pieces of meat and almost no onions or tomatoes. The side Greek salad had no lettuce. It was really disappointing.
This place has been open for just a few months and from the start they've been operating like experienced old hands. It's clear the operators of this franchise are professionals who know their business. From the moment you get there, you can see that the cooks and front staff have been well trained to provide you with good service and good food. It's a great new option for lunch or a quick dinner in Novato.
