This was maybe the grossest attempt at "Greek food" I've encountered. I know this is a chain restaurant and wasnt expecting high level service or flavor but this was horrible. The pita bread was all burnt and crunchy, couldn't even eat it since it was so charred & rigid. This chicken kebab was rare and soft/pink/white. It was extremely undercooked as was this steak kebab. I walked in at 11:30 on Tuesday and they told me all the meat is going to be used for online orders and not taking walk in orders. Why have a state street store front??!? What kind of business doesn't allocated for walk in. Definitely not going there ever again. Bad business.
The first guy who started to take our order was awesome, then the "chef" stepped in and was a complete A+ jerk. My wife ordered the chicken gyros it had at least 1/2 cup mayonnaise and mustard sauce WT I had the beef lamb gyros. It barely had any flavor. I also ordered the Greek salad with the dressing on the side. I wanted to take it home for dinner. The dressing was on it. So at dinner time it was just mush. not really sure how this place has such good reviews. i was very disappointed. the lamb and beef is combined together mechanically and gave me food poisoning. it was soggy and just disappointing. however the greek frozen yogurt was delicious. if they improved the quality of their meat this place would have so much potential.
Over the last 6 months, we have ordered the Greek Salad at least 5 separate times. The first time we ordered the Greek Salad, it was the best. Since that time, the consistency has been terrible. The last time which was in Jan 2026, there was an abundance of cucumber, with little of anything else. Very little dressing, hardly any tomatoe, next to no peppers and onions. Very disappointed. I guess you have to ask for hot fries. Well I did and they brought out another order of cold fries
I've had gyros from all over town and beyond. This is just not my jam. Gyro meat was not well cooked. Tzatziki sauce does not taste right at all. There's no cucumber flavor and the spice they put in it is so overpowering. I will never get anything from here again.
I love Greek Food. I have ordered multiple times from Nick and when the food is fresh and cooked properly- it is awesome. The problem with "Nick the Greek" is they are inconsistent. They don't seem to have quality control. I never know if I'm going to get a chicken pita with freshly cooked chicken and plump warm fries, or if I'm going to get fries that are overcooked, shriveled up and cold.
