This place is OK. Decent prices, fast service, food is pretty good for Santa Barbara considering the limited selection of eclectic food in SB. It's basically a Subway Sandwich version of Greek food. But it was satisfying. Nothing to write home about.
Not gonna lie. They make a good Gyro. Newly opened. The staff was nice a courteous. Restaurant was very clean. Food was fresh and had great flavor. Look forward to trying more items on the menu. Give it try
First time trying Nick the Greek at the new Santa Barbara location! Food was pretty good, the beef/lamb is thinly sliced and good amount of sauce to food ratio. The fries are crispy and thin, Nick's way is the way to go. The atmosphere was nice, very spacious and clean. The staff was super friendly and service was fast! Expect a good amount of food for the price and excited to try more items.
Came during their launch day and process was super smooth. They even handed out greek froyo to people waiting in line. Food was really good and good sized portions for the pricing
I went for the grand opening. The restaurant is in a great spot, it was clean and the food was simple but really good. I had a beef lamb gyro bowl and nicks fries and it was awesome. Glad Santa Barbara has more of these quicker street foods now!
The first guy who started to take our order was awesome, then the "chef" stepped in and was a complete A+ jerk. My wife ordered the chicken gyros it had at least 1/2 cup mayonnaise and mustard sauce WT I had the beef lamb gyros. It barely had any flavor. I also ordered the Greek salad with the dressing on the side. I wanted to take it home for dinner. The dressing was on it. So at dinner time it was just mush. not really sure how this place has such good reviews. i was very disappointed. the lamb and beef is combined together mechanically and gave me food poisoning. it was soggy and just disappointing. however the greek frozen yogurt was delicious. if they improved the quality of their meat this place would have so much potential.
Over the last 6 months, we have ordered the Greek Salad at least 5 separate times. The first time we ordered the Greek Salad, it was the best. Since that time, the consistency has been terrible. The last time which was in Jan 2026, there was an abundance of cucumber, with little of anything else. Very little dressing, hardly any tomatoe, next to no peppers and onions. Very disappointed.
