The staff here were great! Very friendly. The salad was fresh but didn't have much flavor. The lamb meat was delicious and perfectly cooked. Pita bread had some fantastic spices on it to give it a great taste. French fries were also solid. The restaurant was very clean and there were fun decorations. I'll be back for sure!
Step into Nick The Greek Santa Barbara and you are transported to a warm, friendly environment reminiscent of the Greek Taverns in the Villages - and this is coming from a Greek! The food is quick and tasty. The people are so kind - I got to meet some of the guys that own that restaurant and you can tell they are SO passionate about the food and the customer's experience. Delicious food, quick service & super clean! It's so nice having Greek in DT Santa Barbara.
This is becoming the go-to place for my hubby and I for when we're not sure what we feel like for lunch or dinner. Always fresh, always good, and hasn't failed us yet!
Service was decent, polite and quick. Got the food to go and the desert loukamondes or however you spell them looked good but were not, supposedly covered in walnuts and cinamon sugar but I was given oil soaked sweet dough in a box. The nick fries are alright a little tough which I've never had before. The gyro was pretty good however, I got the lamb gyro and I would definitely get it again but I would refrain from the sides
The food was so delicious! Niko the manager is amazing. Me and my friend ate here for the first time and got the gyro plate. We also got two free froyos as well. Impeccable customer service.
The food is very good. The service is OK. However, my complaint is that they are overcharging for sales tax. The rate in Santa Barbara is 8.75%. They are charging 9.375%. Every customer is being overcharged. I mentioned this to the owner, but he has not changed it. They are also using plastic straws that the city has outlawed since 2021.
Taking a break from a EOS, went to nick the greek for the first time. Great service. Fast! Had the gyro pork and lamb. Ashton took my order, knowledgeable. Good price point. Definitely worth a try
My photos didn't upload with my previous review but everything was absolutely phenomenal! The food was so fresh and the portions were huge. So glad good Greek food finally opened up in Santa Barbara. I loved everything I had. The service was immaculate and one of the best service experiences I've had. Everyone was so friendly and helpful when it came to ordering and getting my food, as well as making sure I liked everything and had a lovely visit.
