Nick the Greek is a chain serving quick, affordable Greek food in the Bay Area, and I came to this location because I work nearby. Parking is typically difficult in SSF but because they are located in The Cove at Oyster Point, there's a parking garage with free retail parking and I usually don't worry about finding parking too much. I was really excited to have this restaurant close to my home. I ordered the Greek salad with chicken. Unfortunately I was not impressed. The tomatoes were barely cut so huge pieces that make it hard to chew. Super light on the dressing and barely any chicken. I'm quite familiar with Greek salads and this was subpar, For a $15 salad I was expecting more.
I've ordered takeout from this location a few times as it's super close to my workplace. The order is always ready super quick, ahead of the estimated pickup time, and has been correct each time. I usually get the gyro plate which is a good portion for the price - enough for me to eat 1.5 or 2 meals. Not authentic Greek (I mean, it is a chain restaurant) but tasty nonetheless. I had a small issue with the salad that I had ordered earlier today. I called in to see if I could either get a refund or a replacement salad which was offered to me. After discussing the issue with the shift lead and/or manager in the store, they were able to provide me with the salad that I had ordered in kind. I really appreciated the patience from the staff even though I am just one of many customers that they deal with on a daily basis. Yes it's a chain and it is very conveniently placed outside of my work, I only ordered 2 things when I eat at any Mediterranean spot unless I am with a large group.
