Not much meat, and it was dry. Although the food had decent flavors, I was really disappointed at how little gyro meat was included in the gyro plate that I got. The gyro meat was shaved in a way to look like a lot, but it really wasn't...and the gyro meat was overcooked and on the dry side. For almost $18 after tax, the gyro plate isn't really worth it given how little gyro meat you get. Most of what you get are starch items and vegetables. I'm going to pass on Nick the Greek in the future. Miss a lot of the lunch opti... read more

I was a fan of their Daly City location and wanted to give the downtown location a chance as it's nearby my office. I ordered through the mobile app which told me the pickup time was going to be at noon. I arrived at 12:05 and it took ten minutes to even speak to someone about my order as the person handling the order was too busy chitchatting with friends. When I finally got someone's attention, they told me I would have to wait an additional 5 minutes for my order. At 12:20, they finally handed me my order which had alre... read more

Ordered takeout yesterday and found a piece of plastic in my food. Pulled it out of my month because i felt something weird in my month as a chewed.

Although a long line at lunch, ordered dinner tonight. First question I asked was if chicken was white meat. The answer was yes. Ordered the plate to go and not only was chicken dark meat they did not include dressing for salad. Definitely a pass.

Ordered delivery here via GH and delivery was super quick especially during the lunch rush. Unfortunately, food was ok, I ordered the chicken wrap, and chicken was dry and overcooked. This was my first time trying Nick the Greek too, sadly not a great experience for my first attempt.

Did not like the food, very dry even with the sauce. Fries tasted like cardboard, worst $18 dollars I ever spent. Service was good though just not the food. I think the sauce gave me an allergic reaction because my throat was hurting afterwards so I couldn't finish my meal :(

I grabbed some dinner to go since this spot is somewhat close to BART and has healthy options. The place seems new, the place is small with a few tables. The food was fine. It could have tasted fresher. I went with the chicken and beef/lamb gyro plates. The chicken was super fatty and dried out, the beef and lamb was a much better option. The fries were pretty generic, and either were not freshly fried or they did not travel well. The rice was fine and the plates came with plenty of pitas. One small side of tzatziki. The ... read more

The falafels were dry. Period. I ordered both the greek salad and the Falafel pita and neither one was "moist and delicious". I couldn't eat them. I tossed them and just finished the salad and pita without them. Everything was was refreshing. However, at a place like this the falafel should stand out in a positive way.

Visited NTG yesterday for the first time. Cold outside, colder indoors (front door wide open). Gyro bowl w/ falafel: not sure why everyone is raving about these bowls, but they are slightly better than bagged salad mixes--flavorless (esp compared to Souvla salads). Very light on the salad fixings, heavy on the rice quotient. Falafel were cold after the first couple of bites. I ordered Nick's fries; they were soggy, cold. When I returned them, the counter guy smiled and said, "we will make these fresh for you!". Which... read more
