Excellent service ! Excellent food ! My first time to Davis CA and the lady ysking my order was very nice and patient with me. Food was fresh and tasty I will come back for more. Plenty of variety and selecions are easy.

Honestly the food is amazing. But the real reason I'm leaving a review is I'm a doordasher and the manager was amazing in the service department. The order I went to pick up had been messed up from technical difficulties. And she still placed and completed the order.

Opens late which is really great for students! Right in the middle of downtown and it is super bright at the restaurant. Able to order online and pickup, super quick too. I ordered a gyro bowl with beef ($12.50) and pita bread ($3.50), large portions with simple ingredients. Sign up for their emails to receive discounts! I also heard their Greek yogurt is really good, so I'll give that a try next time.

Decided to try this spot out one night after a random guy on the street recommended it, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the lamb/beef gyro combo and my food came out pretty quick. I thought it was a bit pricey, but was pleasantly surprised that the gyro was actually pretty filling and had no complaints. The fries for the combo are seasoned well, just wished it came with sauce (I added my own at home). Never left a yelp review before but I have to. Ate here yesterday and the cashier was super nice. After eating, took a nap and woke up sick as shit. Got food poisoning... threw up 3 times and had the worst headaches and stomach aches all last night... smh

Never had worst service anywhere. Been here multiple times in the past year for quick takeout orders, and always get the same attitude from the same lady with glasses. Doesn't matter the time of day or date, after this experience- I don't think I'll be coming back. When I ask a question about the menu or prices- she gives me a condescending tone making me feel as if I'm stupid for being a customer. My partner and I were excited when we first tried this place- the chicken gyro is something I think about often so going back to this place I had such high hopes. Let's just say the vibe/demeanor of the cashier was off. They did apparently didn't hear me when I ordered only my partners order- I didn't receive my food and waited about 15 min to come to realize that they never punched it in. So frustrating. Got some odd excuse and paid and waited even longer. Lost my appetite. Maybe I'll come back...

Terrible service from management. The food was fine and I would go to any other Nick the Greek location, however, I would not return to the Davis location, as the management was terrible.

Only eat here if you love food poisoning. Don't trust the chicken. Won't ever be back.
