Food was good, the place is understaffed but what i did not like is the tables where so dirty, the floors dirty (i sat outside because inside seemed like the ac was off and it felt stuffy) I always think that it doesn't hurt to clean the floors, clean the glass doors full of finger printS and clean the tables that's it.
I've been to Nick the Greek at willow glen and it was always good. Not sure about this place, maybe I was unlucky. Ordered chicken souvlaki pita and it was the driest chicken ever ( more like chicken dry-laki pita) I could not chew it, as you can see about 3/4 of the chicken was dried up. Basically ate a pita with veggies. Won't be returning.

Amazing a tale of two cities. I go to the Nick the Greek in Castro Valley. Amazing service. Correct sized proportions of food. A really great experience every time. I have been to Dublin and never had a good experience. The service and attitude is awful. The proportions of food are small and cheap. The food never tastes as good as Castro Valley. The team should go to Castro valley and understand what they do to make an amazing experience

A person asked if I could buy them food because they had no money. I chose to go to Nick the Greek and when we went in the employee told me that they couldn't sell me food for the young lady because too many people were asking people for food and therefore won't sell to me. It was my choice to buy the food for the hungry young lady. The person that I purchased for was not standing outside of the restaurant but several stores down which weren't restaurants. Will not go back. The Gyro's are not prepared correctly. The rest of the food they offer does not resemble any Greek food I know of. I am Greek and my entire family is from Greece. If you want traditional Greek food, don't go here, even for a Gyro. They put french frys on top of their Gyro's, WRONG. The Gyro's are made with to much thin dry out meat and not enough of other essential Ingredients making it to salty and dry to eat. There are better places to even find a Gyro. Bland food. Completely full garbage cans. A long wait for overpriced food. I will not be back.
Love the food but terrible service today. Places my order online ahead of time thinking it would be ready by the time we get there. Online receipt says ready in 10 minutes. Got there a little after that and not ready. Waited another 10 minutes and checked and says not ready while everyone that came in to order through the counter already eating. Owner contacted and said next meal is on them. And then went online and replied to my review stating my family owned a competitive restaurant. What a liar / without ethics. See attached photo of exchange with owner. At least don't lie to your customers. Ps - I never picked up the gift card since I wouldn't use it anyway. PPS - don't have any family in the restaurant business!

Man ... how far the Greeks have fallen. This location is very poorly maintained, the floor sticks, poor service, don't have any condiments. Good luck with your business !!
