I've been wanting to try Nick's and today was the day! We ordered two beef/lamb gyro combos; one with fries & one w/ soup. We ordered our food to-go, but ate immediately in the car. Unfortunately, the gyros & fries were barely warm. It seemed like they're probably not slicing the gyro meat to order & I have no idea why the fries were cold, but there is no excuse for serving someone fries that have been sitting. I have had take out from the Santa Rosa location, but this was my first visit to the Roseville location. So far I have liked everything I've tried: The bowls and salad. Today I tried the lemon chicken soup and was disappointed. There was very little chicken or rice in the soup. At least it was hot! I'll definitely give one of these franchises another try. They seem to be popping up everywhere.
By far the best Greek food in town. Where fresh ingredients meet friendly service. 10/10 recommend.
Decided to try this place for a last minute hangry decision. I ordered a chicken gyro plate and was disappointed in the under cooked chicken. I told the front if they can cook it more and they did which tasted better but it was an okay flavor. The rice was really delicious and the bread with the side they give you was really good! Overall the place is a nice spot to stop by to try but I don't know if I would go back again.
Absolutely DELICIOUS!! I was only going to eat half my veggie gyro but it was too good to not finish! The food was fresh and delicious. Had the frozen yogurt and it was the best frozen yogurt I've tasted. Definitely, definitely coming back!!
Beef/Lamb Gyro Pita with Salad Very good beef and lamb pita. The Avgolemono soup was a bit different and not preferred. But the place was very cool, clean and friendly!!! Delicious food!!!
Tried this place for the first time. It is in The Fountains mall so parking is tough. The restaurant is clean and the guy behind the counter was very nice. My 3 star review is because this Greek food is not traditional or nearly as good as some of our regular places we go to. They put a mustard sauce instead of tzatziki, the chicken was dry and their French fries were neither hot nor flavorful. Craving Greek food, after back from Greece few months ago. Then we find this place at Roseville. We ordered gyro combo beef & lamb for lunch. Was happy with the food, very recommended.
