Nice to have a decent Greek Restaurant in Fremont. We have been here a bunch of times and usually get some version of gyro as I love gyro, chicken Souvlaki and the Prasini Salad, We rarely get the Greek Salad as it has no lettuce. it is kind of unusual, but they add french fries buried in their hot dishes. Parking is kind of tight, no alcohol, order at the register service is fine, new and clean ambiance.
Nick is certainly doing something right if I ordered their baklava 10x this month alone xD I looove their baklava omg words cannot describe its deliciousness. I tried the baklava soft serve and my only complaint is i wish they added MORE baklava
I've been meaning to try Nick the Greek for a long time, and you know what they say? Good things come to those who wait! I got a beef/lamb gyro plate, with pita, rice, and fries. The gyro meat was really good - very flavorful and tender. But the fries had too much herb flavor. I'll definitely come back to try a gyro sandwich! And will get the fries without the herbs next time.
Cheap Greek food that is yummy, healthy, and filling. Service is very friendly as well I would recommend for a quick lunch for sure
They say they open at 10:30 and denied service as greedily stated they were prioritizing catering orders. This is not acceptable management and if consistently the situation management should change. And rude! And kept doors locked!
The food was good, the service and health safety are highly questionable, if not absent! As an ex service worker, I'm always understanding of staff because it can be hard, but I've never seen a restaurant with such a disregard and I'm amazed the health department allows them to be opened. The cashier was quite literally day dreaming over a paramedic and it took a second to finally get her attention and focus, only for her to not say anything besides "Do you want your receipt?" Erica was very helpful showing me the new app, also very apologetic for not having Gyro Salad (spinach and arugula) anymore, which has been my favorite and the main reason I went to Nick the Greek. this place is buying five star reviews. do not trust anything on here - manager is also hella rude and disrespectful. the food is average but the experience was one of the worst i had in recent memory. overall bad service and is dishonest restaurant
first time trying nick the greek and not even 5 minutes after receiving am i writing this. let's start off by saying they did not follow instructions for my beef/lamb gyro pita when i said no onions and no tomatoes (im allergic to tomatoes) and the fries on it tasted like rock they were stale and flavorless meanwhile the nick fries tasted too much like garlic and onions!!!!! and the fries were not enjoyable and do not taste like fries at all! and dont even get me started on these fcukers called loukoumades firstly, stingy ... read more
