This is my first time at Nick the Greek. I have been attempting to visit it for a couple weeks now and was excited to try it! Sadly, the custom service was an immediate turn off. The cashier, younger girl with short dark hair and glasses, was so rude. She didn't even greet me or thank me at any point. She seemed so annoyed with the one simple menu question I had. The vibe was so unwelcoming which is disappointing for a new spot. I haven't received my food yet but just from this interaction I don't plan to return.

The food here is really good. It's why I've tried to order even though they have held my order on the counter for half an hour. They have a lot of service issues ranging from food safety issues to blatant racial or gender discrimination. I was actually refused service today. Super embarrassing. I guess if you complain about how they treat you, rather than attempt to remedy the situation they will reject the customer.

I wouldn't have changed this review if I hadn't learned today that multiple staff here lied to me. I left a hat at this restaurant on 3/26. It was bequeathed to me and was important to me. Unfortunately, bc I live ways from Fullerton, I wasn't able to pick it up right away. Fortunately, on 3/26, a female worker told me I could pick it up 'whenever' and that it'd be 'waiting for me' there. I was thankful for this. I choose this location looking for a healthy Gyro bowl. Unfortunately, my bowl from this location was extremely greasy. It was so greasy that I felt like I was eating a bowl from Popeyes fried chicken and in return making my salad very watery and oily. I ate the food for convenience but I won't be back to this location. I'm prepared to drink a lot of water from this experience and if you ask for my recommendation, I do not recommend this spot as Nick The Greek is normally a great Mediterranean chain. We've eaten here a couple of times. The gyros are great. We ordered the burger and items through the app for a scheduled pickup. Got there early and waited at least 20 minutes. The gentleman helping was very kind offering a soda and then sent a dessert free for the wait. Tonight same ordered two burgers for pickup at 6:30. Got there and was told they ran out of buns! Food was excellent! Got nicks fries and a gyro and was all very tasty. The service was not so good, short staffed and forgot many items in my order so I had to go back several times to the counter.
