Depends sometimes the food isnt the best other time it's decently ok. Sevicr is ok as well as the restaurant
I was so excited to try this place and was so disappointed the blackava doesn't even have pistachios the hummus is blan as hell nothing had salt or seasonings the salad was delish but then again I hadn't ate for 8 hrs so tbh if you want amazing gyro's don't come here unless u like unseasoned food
I walked in at approximately 6:50pm and there's no employees working in the front or kitchen. I stood there for a few minutes then left.
I love the food here and often order online and have never had a problem until this past week. I placed an order this past Sunday for a gyro bowl and paid for extra feta and extra tzatziki, but to my disappointment, I received NO feta and no extra tzatziki. I originally chose to overlook this mistake because I get it, things happen. However, they messed up my order again today. MASSIVE HEADACHE after eating two orders of their beef & lamb. Why so much MSG??? It's like poison in your food served to unsuspecting customers most of whom have no clue they are ingesting toxins. Very bad franchise recipe.
Not good enough for the price. Got a Souvlaki chicken gyro for $15 and some of the chicken was a little burnt, left a bad after taste. The fries were the most disappointing, very dry and overcooked. Also got a lamb plate which was good that's why I gave it 2 stars.
This is my first time at Nick the Greek. I have been attempting to visit it for a couple weeks now and was excited to try it! Sadly, the custom service was an immediate turn off. The cashier, younger girl with short dark hair and glasses, was so rude. She didn't even greet me or thank me at any point. She seemed so annoyed with the one simple menu question I had. The vibe was so unwelcoming which is disappointing for a new spot. I haven't received my food yet but just from this interaction I don't plan to return.
The food here is really good. It's why I've tried to order even though they have held my order on the counter for half an hour. They have a lot of service issues ranging from food safety issues to blatant racial or gender discrimination. I was actually refused service today. Super embarrassing. I guess if you complain about how they treat you, rather than attempt to remedy the situation they will reject the customer.
I wouldn't have changed this review if I hadn't learned today that multiple staff here lied to me. I left a hat at this restaurant on 3/26. It was bequeathed to me and was important to me. Unfortunately, bc I live ways from Fullerton, I wasn't able to pick it up right away. Fortunately, on 3/26, a female worker told me I could pick it up 'whenever' and that it'd be 'waiting for me' there. I was thankful for this.
