I'll bump up 1 star from my previous review for taste of the food but was disappointed this evening. Ordered the Gyro Salad with chicken. Usually there is a good bit of chicken that covers the salad with several layers. Tonight's salad had a smattering of meat. The greens themselves usually have a nice dose of dressing that always pools up in the bottom of the bowl when I'm finished. Tonight the bowl was bone dry and the greens were only lightly coated. Please tell me this isn't the shape of things to come. Hopefully this wa... read more
Worst salad I ever had!!! Really oily gyro meet with no taste... and burnt bread!!!!!!!!!
Me and the wife were beyond excited when we learned that we were getting this place in Visalia. Sure enough, it was just as delicious as we remember from having it in the Bay Area. HOWEVER... the quality and pride has gone way down hill. WAAAAAY DOWN HILL. The last two times we have gone have been a great disappointment. Hard dry gyro bread, skimped on the chicken and sloooooow service. The last time we had just got back into town from a long trip and we were tired and we were hungry. We said, let's try Nick's one more time.... read more
If you want your food seasoned after it's cooked, rather than cooked with it. This is your spot. Bland as hell other than the top of the gyro that was drizzled with seasoning. Nicks fires were okay at best. I'll smell like garlic until Christmas
I ordered from Nock the Greek last night. I really like they're food. Only problem was It never arrived, I placed my order through Grubhub. It said get ready to eat, out for delivery. Then said order delivered but I never received it. I looked around on my neighbors door steps to see if it was at the wrong house. When I tried to call Grubhub my phone kept getting hung up on? Not sure what happened? Still waiting to hear back
The MCDonald's of Greek food. Very expensive and blah. The gyros meat was dried out. The pitas were stale.
When they first opened the beef/lamb gyros had generous portions and large chunks of meat, but now its paper thin slices and skimpy-half the meat-will not revisit-too bad because I liked this place-should rename it "Nick the Cheapskate"
I understand when you say thin slices but this is ridiculous! All I got was the skin of chicken no actual meat! $20 for a combo meal and I didn't eat it, plus the Pepsi I ordered had no ice, so it was hot. Had all this delivered. Won't go back
The bread was cold and not warm, my boyfriends steak was a bit burnt and taste. Food did not taste authentic or tasty. Probably won't go back.
