Arnold “Arni” Cohen opened the doors to the flagship restaurant in 1965 at Market Square Shopping Center in Lafayette. Originally seating a little over 100 people, within 10 years Arni’s at Market Square was one of the largest and most successful restaurants in Indiana, with seating for almost 500 patrons. Service was subpar. Waitress did not have answers to any of our questions. Including ingredients in menu items and what the house wines were.....these answers should be known. Slow to bring bill. Food was very good. Went for an elementary and we're sad to not be seated in the main dining area where all the other kids were. ? .
Went for our anniversary. Enjoyed the chicken BBQ pizza! And of course the Arnis Junior Salad. Tried the ginger dressing. Was delicious!
Overall a good experience, menu is solid. Folks next to us ordered pizza and it looked very good.
Took my mom here while she was visiting from NC. The service is always exceptional. They have an extensive menu and everything I have ordered has been delicious! A neighborhood gem.

Good thin crust pizza. We always get a half and half. One side the Maui Zowie. Ham, onions, pineapple, & BBQ sauce an the other side Meatball. The Jr....
So with school out and it staying light so late, my family's dining schedule has already extended past my comfort zone. But being the father/husband my opinion is irrelevant and we went out to Arni's with friends after 9 on saturday. It was only my second time to the indianapolis location and I had forgotten how magical their menu seletion is! From wings to tacos to sandwiches to pasta....and...
Shouldn't charge more for kids gluten free items. Not their fault that they where born with celiac.
