Service was OK, not quick and it didn't seem too busy. I got a to-go order and they didn't put any serving utensils or napkins in the bag. Very frustrating as I had no idea and they didn't mention anything. Staff was not friendly. Last time I come here when I need a gyro.
I tried this place out for the 1st time. The side dishes of rice, salad and hummus were pretty decent. The pita was ok, nothing that separated it from a store bought packaged brand. The chicken was a huge disappointment. I expected it to be marinated in a nice seasoning and be very tender for cooking in its own juices on a spit. Instead, It tasted like 2- day old refrigerated rotisserie that you would from Safeway or Smith's. In summary, Nicks ain't it!
Could you please please please stop changing things!?? The Greek salad doesn't even taste the same now! I'm so bummed
The food was good but the service was awful. The young girl that took my order was so disengaged and I felt like she didn't want to take my order. I won't be back.
My wife ordered the Gyro salad and it was nothing but a bowl of cucumbers! No dressing! No pita bread absolutely garbage!!
Staff are great, place is clean but the food is Greek fast food. It's like going to Chipotle for authentic Mexican. The lamb tasted processed. Oh well, tried it. Won't be back.
OK, I've been making Gyros, (E-U-ROS, NOT G-YROS) for 30 years. Was paid for 10 Summers at Karavomilos Beach Camping, Kefalonia, Greece. Did my internship when I finished at Le Cordon Bleu. Making Baklava, same thing. I ordered through Doordash, wanted those lovely fresh flavors of the Tzatziki, the cucumber, dill, lemon juice, roasted garlic, and FRESH Greek yogurt....The pork, and that is traditional for a Gyro, was dry, old, and not sure how it was reheated. I had the falafel and chicken plate and it was terrible. The chicken was cooked normally but you can tell it had no seasoning, the flavor came from the charred parts. The falafel was the worst thing I've ever had I don't know if you can even call this a falafel. The inside was entirely green and it tasted like a zucchini. This is not what a falafel is meant to taste like. The rice was bland and the fries are old. Food was below average. Nothing was Greek about it. The hot sauce was the best part of my entire meal.
