The service was. Fast and efficient . The food was delicious. I would recommend the bowl.
I was craving a Gyro and noticed that there was a Nick the Greek downtown. I ordered a Beef/Lamb Gyro sandwich and a side of Beef/Lamb Gyro meat. The pita was soft and came with lots of meat. You get fries in the sandwich, some onions, flavorful sauce, some tomatoes but could use a little more, a bit salty but overall a good sandwich. They give you a lot of meat in the beef/lamb side. The check-out screen puts a little tip pressure which I caved in and tipped for my take-out order. I would come back back again. Good value... read more
Ordered food in the past and now ordered on website. When I noticed the food was going to be delivered by grub hub I wanted to cancel. I prefer to pick up my food when is hot. I live close. I think the food is good but trying to reverse delivery got complicated and the person who claimed he was the only person at the shop that spoke English. His words not mine was no help at all. He wouldn't even cancel the order as he did not know how. Poor training. Need to have website not default to delivery. 3 stars for poor customer ... read more
Great food. Lots of it! Love the Greek fries, pita, gyros, salad and baklava! Clean, modern decor. Pleasant service.
Best chicken bowls and salads. Staff very friendly. All orders were delicious and fresh ingredients. We've been there many times. Good solid food and big portions.
Okay, food is great. New & extremely clean. I had the gyro platter very tasty. Only reason for 4* is they charged me $2.50 for tap water from the soda machine!$@&! That is ridiculous. The total cost was $21. Not horrible, but the water charge-come on man. I will dine here again. Cheers
Glad location in Danville, originally traveled to Dublin for my craving of quick greek food. Staff seems always happy and value is good for a sit down fast food that seems way fresher than other alternatives. Keep up the good work and thanks for coming to Danville.
We wanted to grab a quick lunch and decided to go to Nick the Greek. We ordered the Baklava, Chicken Souvlaki Pita, Souvlaki Plate, a beef/lamb gyro and fries. I'm a dessert first type of person and tried the baklava first. I felt like the baklava had too much sugar in it. I prefer if it were made with the lemon, rose water, a tiny bit of sugar, and honey. I really don't like it tasting too sweet with the added sugar because it overpowers the natural tastes. As for the beef/lamb gyro and the chicken souvlaki pita, they w... read more
Glad I tried this spot today. I've been to other Nick the Greek locations and always thought they were ok, but the new Danville location is great! The Greek fries were done perfectly -- the best I've had. The pita wrap on my gyro was soft, fresh and packed with delicious beef&lamb. The service was excellent as well. I look forward to coming back. Glad to say there's another good place to eat in the downtown.
