I loved this place! The mustard sauce was surprisingly addictive and delicious. Made a second trip there.
I've had several of the scrumptious dishes offered at Nick the Greek, and each has been absolutely perfect. It's 103 degrees outside now, and I really wanted a Frozen Yogurt with Honey and Baklava today. So I ordered a half-portion of Nick's Fries with beef/lamb and the frozen yogurt, for dessert. Absolutely so tasty! The colorful blend of rice and meat options right in my neighborhood keeps bringing me back to them! They were super fast making it and the ambiance was welcoming! I grabbed it and sat in the sun enjoying my meal :)
Decent but if you're going to get Greek food on Castro Street, go to Hummus Mediterranean Kitchen instead. The hummus at Nick the Greek was sour, chunky and dry.
Will eat here again! Who doesn't love a quick gyro with all the trimmings and fries shoved in there? Bring me one person who doesn't and then I'll guarantee you that I will eat a gyro from Nick's! Nice servers. Good assortment of drinks. Nice clean store.
Great spot for fast, flavorful Greek street food right in downtown Mountain View! The portions are generous, the gyros and Mediterranean bowls are tasty and fresh, and the staff are friendly and efficient. I especially loved the lamb gyro and falafel wrap.
This experience was absolutely amazing from the start to the end! May was super patient with the group I went in with and she gave her recommendations and helped out a friend that was extremely indecisive! The taste of the food was amazing and the pricing is great. I loved this place but it was icky this last time. I ordered a chicken gyro and the sauce tasted like a sweetened mayo. My daughter's food was good but. ick..
3.5 all over now and easy to cater too, with greek salad (but they didn't do real feta), pita, reasonable gyro and shawarma meat, ok hummus
