Great selection, super nice folks, Terry's Pizza in the back, Boars Head in the deli, home made puddings, ice cream bar, and roasted chicken.

Oh my gosh, this store is absolutely amazing. They have so much diversity from any grocery store I think I have ever been in. From a huge meat department with everything from regular hamburger to Wagyu steaks, everything in between and more. The bakery is fantastic with cakes, pies and things. They even make their own pizzas. We found items I haven't seen in years including a huge Jelly Belly dispensary with all “The Original Gourmet Jelly Beans”. Terry's Pizza alone gets the supermarket a 5 star. Grew up going there and still stopping in when I'm in town 30 years later. Don't hesitate, make a plate! Hashbrown casserole and turnip green casserole are also top notch.

I really want want to love this market, but I can't find any reason to. It's cute, yes, and it feels like you go back in time, complete with a lot of old-timer shoppers, but it's expensive, such as selling Danish Kringle for $35.99 when Trader Joe's sells it for $9.99. I have a sweet tooth, and the cakes look yummy at first glance, but they also appear to be brought in from someplace else and sort of made to look like it's fresh. I have to stop and get a Terry's Pizza at Star Super Market everytime I pass through Huntsville. Butcher shop is awesome too.
