We purchased a firepit from Myers. We recently tried to ignite the pilot, but could not.I called to request a ser ice call. Not only did I buy it there, but they ADVERTISE service calls. Dennis is the person I spoke with. I texted him. the model #, pics of the firepit and the Manuel. Long story short, he refused to send someone out to service WHAT THEY SOLD US,and, instead, referred us to somebody else. We are in the middle of a whole house renovation and are converting our wood fireplace to gas. The person we worked with may have just been having a bad day, but he couldn't have been less helpful. It felt like we had said or done something to offend or anger him. We have since found other retailers locally and online that were infinitely more helpful and personable. Not sure how Myers has been around as long as they have with this kind of experience.
This company is the greatest. Had a not easy to fix fireplace that took some time to figure out, but they did. Very nice professional people and Kim in the office is awesome.
Service call minimum is $200! Out of line compared to others (plumber was $95, appliance repair was $99) - must only be interested in sales and not service. Don't use!
